Cusco/Corpus Christi - Peru







The "Chiri Uchu" is the tipical Corpus Christi dish and consists in big lumps of guinea pig meat, chicken, pig, "torrejas", "caucau", roasted corn, cheese, "rocoto", "cecina", sausages toghether with "chicha" or beer.




The Corpus Christi festivity consist in a religious parade where different saints are escorted by "mayordomos, carguyoc, invitados, fieles" and musicians, in Cusco main square, called Plaza de Armas.
